I think my best friend Mal is getting lessons from my — from Regina? She's another queen with a lot of magical abilities, too. I figured maybe I'd see how that goes for them and then maybe I could ask...
Oh!! Goodness, would you? I'd love to meet her, at the very least, even if I totally just got a little nervous thinking about it. She and her sister and their story are totally famous in my kingdom.
Well, it's probably a lot more complicated than what everyone always says, but Queen Elsa has snow and ice powers, as we know, but she hid them from the world for a really, really long time. It wasn't until her coronation that she slipped up and like, totally scared everyone with her magic and kind of just ran off and did her own thing up in the mountains and made this AWESOME castle completely out of ice! Eventually her sister found her and the guy that was trying to get rid of both of them to take control of Arendelle was stopped somehow. I don't know the full deets.
And like, I don't really know how it all went down since it happened before I was even born, but Arendelle isn't a part of the United States of Auradon that King Beast formed when he united all of the kingdoms and sent all of their respective "villains" to the Isle — I mean, where I'm from. That guy from Queen Elsa and Anna's story, Prince Hans, isn't on the Isle as far as I know... I kind of suspect that Queen Elsa wasn't cool with sending a person off to a remote island as bad as ours, no matter what they did. And if that's the case, I respect her even more.
[ bellamy told wells everyone in arendelle would make it snow. what a liar. ]
So, she's a legend in a way, especially if her kingdom is separate from Auradon.
[ this is rife with political intrigue. he hadn't expected that. ]
That sounds like a benevolent queen. Considering that she had given someone I know a living snowman, though I know that's not much to go off, it doesn't sound like she would execute that kind of punishment.
That Isle doesn't sound all that fantastic. I can't see how any ruler would be okay with doing that, even to their enemies.
[ well he can, but that would be how he'd rule. ]
right like elsa would totally think that shit is fucked up
Yes, exactly! From what I've heard, she's just lovely.
But no, the Isle is really awful. I mean, besides the general isolation because of the magical barrier and the magic suppression ... They send us the scraps of food that they don't want in Auradon to eat, they send us broken or half-used products like all the makeup that my mom was constantly hoarding, they send us clothing that's no longer wanted, or is in too much disrepair to wear anymore...
I mean, I really liked almost everyone that I met when I was sent to Auradon Prep. But they're supposed to be the "good guys", right? I've always wondered about the kind of example that they've set for THEIR kids. It would explain a lot about some of the nastier kids I went to school with, I guess.
ikr, she could have killed hans instead of letting anna punch him lmao
It almost sounds worse than punishment on the Ark. I'm sorry that you had to live through all of that. You still turned out great, in any case. :)
Those in the "right" aren't always ... right, I've learned.
[ the ellipse lingers on the screen for a moment longer. ]
My father's the Chancellor of the Ark. Well, he was, but it's a complicated story I'm still learning about. He did a lot of things for the sake of everyone on board, but many suffered because of it.
( the chancellor? it sounds like an important title. maybe wells is the prince of her dreams. the compliment and the smiley face do much to ensure that. )
I'm sorry to hear that. :(
It seems that even those with the best intentions can't always succeed in making things go the way they hope.

I'm not sure if that would help you, since it's a winter thing, but he speaks highly of her.
